Privacy Policy
Last updated: 9 September 2026
Vesper Vault AB ("we", "us") runs Vesper Finance Training, an online course where you learn financial modelling by building a model step by step. This policy explains what we collect and why. It is short because we collect very little.
You can use the whole course without telling us anything
There are no accounts and no login. You can open the site, work through every module, and finish the course without giving us your name, your email, or anything else.
Your progress is saved in your own browser. It stays on your device, it is not sent to us, and clearing your browser data deletes it.
What we collect
If you join the waitlist, we collect the email address you type, and the message you write if you choose to write one. That is all — we do not ask for your name, employer or job title.
As you use the site, we record anonymous usage events: that a page was opened, that a course or build step was started or finished, and when. These are tied to a random identifier stored in your browser, not to you. We cannot tell who you are from them, and we do not try.
We do not collect your name, your IP address, payment details, or anything you type into the model itself. The formulas you enter while building are about a fictional company and stay in your browser.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data, to anyone, ever.
- We do not use it to train AI models.
- We run no advertising and no advertising trackers.
- We use no third-party analytics product. The usage events go to our own database and nowhere else.
- We do not track you across other websites.
Cookies
We do not use cookies for tracking. We store two things in your browser: your course progress, and the random identifier described above. Both stay on your device.
Who else touches your data
| Provider | What they do | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Lovable | Hosts the website and runs the database that stores waitlist emails and usage events | European Union — Ireland (AWS eu-west-1) |
That is the whole list. If we add anything else that touches your data, this table changes and so does the date at the top.
How long we keep it
- Waitlist emails and messages: until you ask us to remove them, or until we stop running the waitlist, whichever comes first.
- Anonymous usage events: 24 months, then deleted.
- Your course progress: on your device only, for as long as you keep it.
Your rights
Email privacy@vespervault.ai and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or send it to you in a file. We will reply within 30 days, and in practice much sooner.
Because there are no accounts, the only thing we are likely to hold is a waitlist email and a message. Ask and it is gone.
If you are in the UK or EU you can also complain to your data protection authority. In Sweden that is the Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY).
Our lawful basis is consent — you chose to give us your email — for the waitlist, and legitimate interests for anonymous usage counts, which we use only to understand whether the course is working and where people get stuck.
This is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Security
We hold almost nothing, which is the best security there is. What we do hold is encrypted in transit and at rest, and the waitlist cannot be read from the website by visitors. No system is perfect, and we will tell you promptly if something happens that affects your data.
Changes
If this policy changes we update the date above. If the change is significant and we have your email, we will tell you.
